HE’S WORTH IT

Fond thoughts of the baby that you bore, from you he’d never part.
But, now your child has become defiant, and he’s ripping out your heart.
At times, in your disappointment, you wonder, "Did I birth this?"
When you observe his defiance, you wonder,
"Is it worth this?"
Well, God has heard your cries, and today I’m here to say, That "yes, your child is worth it", even when he refuses to obey.
He’s worth every sacrifice, he’s worth every tear.
He’s worth every worry, he’s worth every fear. He’s worth every heartache, headache and pain
He’s worth it when you feel that you’re about to go in sane.
He’s worth every day off work, to get him back in school.
He’s worth it when he loses control, and unable to keep his cool.
He’s worth every trip you make, to conferences with his teachers.
He’s worth the counseling sessions you have,
with counselors, psychologists and preachers He’s worth the principal conferences, and disagreements with school staff
He’s worth it when he must beware, of your anger, your tantrum, your wrath!
He’s worth it all when you go through, unsurety, insecurity, and doubt
He’s worth it when he has no clue, what respect is all about
He’s worth the drug treatment, you may have
to take him to
He’s worth every dollar that you spend, although he may break you
Although your child has taken you, through misery and strife
His soul belongs to the living God, and so does his precious life
He is your special child, regardless of what he’s done
So, as long as you do not give up, the enemy has not won
So, continue to fight for your child, ‘cause when the battle is through
God’s mighty power will prevail, although your child is in debt to you
But just because your child owes you his life, doesn’t mean he should be forced to repay Because if we all got what we deserved,
we’d all be dead today
Many children turn their lives around, and that’s a blessing, it’s not luck
But, even if your child never changes, don’t ever let it be said, "You gave up".

I destroy homes, I tear families apart
I take your children and that’s just a

I’m more valued than diamonds, more precious than

The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold
If you need me I’m easily found
I live all around you, in your school, and in your
town
I live with the, rich and the poor
I live just down the street or maybe next door
I’m made in a lab but not like you think
I can even be made under your kitchen sink
I have many names but there’s one you’ll know
best
I’m sure you’ve heard of me my name is “Crystal
Meth”
My power is awesome try me you’ll see
But if you do, you may never break free
Just try me once, I might let you go
But if you try me twice, I am your soul
When I possess you, you’ll steal and you’ll
lie
You’ll do what you have to just to stay
high
The crimes you’ll commit for my narcotic
charms
Will be worth the pleasures you’ll feel in my
arms
You’ll lie to your mom and steal from your
dad
When you see their tears, you won’t even be
sad
Just forget your morals and how you were
raised
I’ll be you conscience, I’ll teach you my
ways
I’ll take everything from you, your look and your pride
I’ll always be with you right by your side
I’ll take and I’ll take till you have no more to
give
When I’m finished with you, you’ll be lucky to
live
If you try me be warned, this is not a
game
If I’m given a chance I’ll drive you
insane
The nightmares I’ll give you while you’re lying in bed
My voice you’ll hear inside your head
The sweats, the shakes, and the visions you’ll
see

do

You knew this would happen, many times you were
told
But you challenged my power, you chose me to be
bold
You could have told me “NO” then walked
away
If you could live that over, now what would you
say
Now that you’ve me what will you’ do?
Will you try me or not, it’s all up to you
I can show you more misery than words can
tell
