Life Issues Friends and supporters,

Life Issues' 3rd annual Next Step Walk / fundraiser was held on 8-29, and God gave us good weather, it was overcast and not too hot! 

We had 51 walkers and almost that many volunteers, and we raised a little over $7000 for our addiction recovery ministry, praise the Lord! 

A lot of planning and effort went into this years walk, and there are several post-walk items that need to be done, but it's so worth it!

Brian Hedges and Steve Fleshman gave the walkers a charge at the start line of the walk (Justice Center), and Pat Lee spoke to the group that stayed for breakfast at the end of the walk (HBF), about 4 commonalities that we all need, and that connect us all.  Sara Jack gave one of the best testimonies I've ever heard during the pancake breakfast after Pat spoke, and I gave some Life Issues statistics and final thoughts before distributing 7 door prizes and drawing the winners of our raffle (Mitch and Kelly Tally, and Jenny Mohn-Myrick).
