Meeting Summary

Last Friday was our second largest meeting attendance (36), and it was good to meet some new folks. Our video principle focused on not being possible to fight a fleshly temptation with fleshly weapons. This principle helped us to see that our real enemy is spiritual and not physical (flesh and bone) in nature; therefore we must use the spiritual weapon of God's word, in the power of Jesus Christ, to combat and cast down everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. After the video, Pat delivered a message from Luke 15 about the Prodigal Son that we could all relate to. Pat showed us from the text, the amazing and infinite love that the Father has, as he looks and longs for us to repent and return to him, no matter how far off we are.
