Our last Friday of the month / testimony meeting was inspiring, as we
heard how God took a young man from Belton, who went from being popular
and athletic to being hooked on cocaine, to his life spiraling out of
control; before becoming a Godly man who is now established in
church, with employment, and is 8 years sober!
This man spent two
and a half years in prison and didn't see one of his sons for over 6
years, but God restored the years that the locusts had eaten, and has
now restored his relationship with all of his children! This man shared
his favorite Bible verse with the 36 other adults present, to encourage
us that God can make us all a new creature in Christ too. (KJV) 2
Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
